Forest honey comes partly from the nectar of mountain flowers and mainly from the sap of trees (fir trees, oaks, pines, etc.), collected by the bees.

This particular origin gives our honey its unique character: a dark colour, intense aromas, a deep flavour and a remarkably long-lasting finish, as well as a richer content of nutrients.

Harvested in Small Quantities

We harvest this honey in small quantities, paying particular attention to quality, purity and respect for the bees’ natural rhythm.

The amount of honey harvested depends on weather conditions and the health of the bees.

Our hives are located in Val del Prato, within the territory of La Brigue, in a preserved mountain environment, far from large urban areas.
